Register of prisoners, 1890-1929.

These are registers of prisoners confined at Eddyville. Information recorded on each prisoner at the time of admission includes their name, crime, sentence, previous convictions, name of county seat where the case was heard, term of court, and dated received. Also recorded is such personal information as age, state of birth, race, occupation, previous habits, and social relations. Physical characteristics are also noted including height, weight, complexion, eye color and hair color. At the time of discharge, the date and reason for discharge were added to the register.
