Governor's leave of absence from the state : Governor Bert T. Combs, 1960-1963.

These records document the governor's absences from and returns to the state. The governor's office notified the secretary of state whenever the governor left the state and designated who would serve as "acting governor" in his place. The secretary of state was also notified upon the governor's return.
