Schoenberg tells Parrish that his list of piano music is complete and states, "It is not probable that I will write something for piano solo in the next future; rather I could think about two pianos or a chamnber [sic] music with piano." The letter, which was tipped into Parrish's bound volume of Schoenberg's piano music (JOG 91-7), has been replaced by a photocopy.
