28 letters and 36 postcards from Mark Tobey and his companion Pehr Hallsten, 3 small sketches by Tobey, dated 1954 and 1955, and 3 blank cards designed by Hallsten. Most of the letters were written while Toby and Hallsten were travelling in Europe, although several were sent from New York.
