Suzanne Bartlett married sculptor Paul Wayland Bartlett in 1913. They lived mostly in France, but also in Washington, D.C. and New York. She helped him in his work, and after his death in 1925, went on to arrange exhibitions of his work, and had numerous pieces recast and sold to benefit a proposed memorial studio (never executed).
