A letter from Loch to Mark Tobey, December 26, 1968, asking for a copy of an exhibition catalog and Tobey's reply suggesting where she might find one, January 2, 1969; a letter from Loch to Theodeore G. Haupt, January 12, 1971, enclosing a snapshot of a painting by Haupt and suggesting that he meet another artist, Rudy Pozzatti, and Haupt's reply thanking Loch for the snapshot.

Loch purchased Haupt's painting "The Magician" from Heath Gallery in Atlanta, Ga. She was living in Stone Mountain, Ga. when she wrote both Tobey and Haupt. She subsequently moved to San Antonio, Tx. Haupt was a painter and instructor in New York, N.Y.; he spent time living in Hawaii. Tobey painted and lived in Seattle, Wa. and Europe. From the description of Elizabeth B. Loch letters, 1968-1971.
