Drafts of a narrative of the Seventh Minnesota Volunteer Infantry by James T. Ramer; letters concerning its members (1888-1890); muster rolls and official papers of Marshall as colonel of the regiment; Marshall's journal of Henry H. Sibley's punitive expedition against the Dakota Indians in 1863; his diary for 1864; a bill book of Marshall and Company (1858-1893); railroad passes issued to him (1877-1879); correspondence, deeds, and tax receipts resulting from his real-estate interests in Bird Island (Renville County, Minn.); a letter to Dr. Samuel D. Clagett to Marshall concerning Yellowstone National Park (July 14, 1894); and a facsimile of the Abraham Lincoln letter to Henry H.
