Minutes, 1902 Dec. 30 - 1916 Mar. 25, containing the articles of incorporation, the declaration of incorporation granted through J.B. Gaston, Montgomery Co., Ala., Judge of Probate, and other papers related to the company's incorporation. The bulk of the volume consists of the minutes of the meetings of the board of directors and shareholders, 1903 Jan. 2 - 1916 Mar. 25, which includes the results of the election of the first board of directors, and the adoption of bylaws for the corporation. Additionally, there is correspondence among the board of directors, minutes of annual meetings of shareholders, yearly profit and loss and assets and liabilities statements, balance sheets, as well as trial balances for the period 1904-1907, proxy votes, general business correspondence, capitalization increase documents, two business letters unrelated to the company from Mrs. A.H. Munger, promissary notes, the return policy of the dry goods store, and notices to employees.
