This series contains reports by the State Fire Marshal on fires. Each fire has an entry that contains the locations of the fire, date, value of building, amount of damages, value of contents, damage to contents, insurance on buildings and contents, and the origins of the fire. Some of these records were created when the State Fire Marshal was under the direction of the Commissioner of Insurance (1915-1919) and the Secretary of State (before 1915).
