Correspondence of the director of high schools with superintendents, principals, and school board clerks of districts maintaining graded elementary and secondary schools, containing the director's reports on conditions needing improvement (based on inspection visits), or the director's responses to questions regarding such matters as curriculum, state rules and standards, reporting procedures, teacher qualifications, and state and federal aid. Also includes some courtesy copies of correspondence of other Education Department staff, such as the director of buildings and business administration.
