Compilations from the 1970 census fourth-count (socioeconomic) tapes. There are four pages of tables for every State and county, one each containing data for a residences--urban, rural nonfarm, and farm. These data, which show number of persons and families, are organized under various headings to reflect race, families headed by females, ages of children, employment status, sources of income, and other characteristics of the counted families. Because of an omission in the data for farmhouses, the total and rural housing data should be disregarded.
