Testimonial in highly decorative illumination by the Yorkshire artistWalter Taylor, presented by the Ripon Division Liberal Association on the occasion of the 50th wedding anniversary of Lord and Lady Ripon, outlining the major contributions of Lord Ripon and thanking them both for many years of service. The 85 photographs mounted on the inside sheets are unidentified but are probably family, political colleagues, and people from the Ripon district.

1 v., very large quarto in elaborate carved oak binding inset with three photographs (including Lord and Lady Ripon).

George Frederick Samuel Robinson, Marquess of Ripon, was a British statesman who served as viceroy of India.
