Residing in Farmington, New Hampshire, the Dame family consisted of Jeremiah and Susan Horne Dame and their son William Horne Dame (1819-1884). William Horne Dame (1819-1884) is best known as a Mormon Church leader and colonel in the Utah Militia in Parowan, Utah at the time of the Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857.
