Personal and professional correspondence, ephemera, documents, and miscellaneous papers of Erskine Esdon. Includes material related to Soquel Union Grammar School, including a photo album of students (ca. 1925), a yearbook (1943), and miscellaneous ephemera, bills, and receipts; letters to Florence Keene (1905-1947); and certificates, passports, and military YMCA documents from World War I. The YMCA documents include a small collection of program cards issued to members of a Chinese Student Deputation to America (1911). Collection also contains some papers of Alexander and Estelle Esdon (1872-1892), including a pocket diary of Alexander Esdon (1869), a farmer in the San Joaquin Valley in Alameda County, Calif., containing scattered entries on the weather, crop conditions, and farming.
