Henry Meade Bland correspondence, 1924-1925.

Chiefly correspondence with Helen Throop Purdy, another Calif. author, and Dorothy Huggins of the California Historical Society, concerning Purdy's review of Bland's book, Stevenson's California, published in 1924. Purdy's review, published in the Oct. 1924 issue of California Historical Society Quarterly, contested several factual points in Bland's book, and CHS asked to publish this correspondence.
