Orderly book, 1862-1863.

Orderly book, 1862 May 3 - 1863 March 18, containing notes on daily activities. The posting of the regimental picket guard received particular attention, and the name and rank of those posted on guard duty were listed, as well as where they were posted. The officer of the day was also noted. The book covered the time the regiment was in Fla. and generally the location was noted. Locations noted included Camp Lomax, Bluff Springs, Camp Lee, Camp Hall, Camp Hunter, and Camp Henderson, all in Fla. Some entries are not in chronological order, as there are 1863 entries interspersed among the 1862 entries. Among the officers of the day were R.W. Carter, B.J. Bonham, R.B. Lewis, D.H. Lewis, W.H. Jemison, J. Shackelford, J.W. Scarbrough, John P. West, and A.P. Wilson.
