Committee reports, 1841-[Ongoing].

The earliest report seems to be a committee report concerning the banks in Alabama. The report, 1841 Dec. 2 -Dec. 31, reads like a court hearing, with a delegation from each county in Alabama appearing before the committee and being sworn in. It contains a resolution which established subcommittees whose duty it became to examine the branch banks of the Bank of the State of Alabama in Montgomery, Decatur, Huntsville, and Mobile. Later reports cover various issues, and also contian roll call votes.
