Reel to reel tapes, transcripts of tapes, and related transcription materials of a collection including 7 oral history interviews conducted by J. Keith Melville, while researching the role and function of Utah's first ladies, the wives of the governors of the state during the twentieth century. Working with the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies on the processing of the transcripts, Melville in turn donated his basic research materials to the Archives and Manuscripts Division of the Harold B. Lee Library, Brigham Young University.
