The James Donald Adams collection contains six letters (1957, 1960) and one postcard (1958 Oct. 10) from Howe to Adams. The Christopher D. Morley collection contains one letter (1921 June 3) from Howe to Morley. The Stanley Thomas Williams collection contains two letters (1952 Jan. 18, 1953 April 21) from Williams to Howe and two letters (1952 Jan. 23, 1953 April 28) from Howe to Williams. Among books by Howe cataloged with the Center's book holdings are the author's signed presentation copy to J. Donald Adams of BLISS PERRY, 1860-1954; the author's signed presentation copy to Evelyn Waugh of WEETAMOE IN MEMORY; and a copy of THE YOUTH'S COMPANION, inscribed to Adams by each of its four editors, including Howe.
