Letter to Callender Irvine requesting that he send a copy of a letter sent to him by Duane so that Duane could send it, with a statement, to the Secretary of War. The Secretary had requested that Duane send him a statement on the nature of the "impedements which I have recently experienced in the discharge of my duty".
