Interview conducted by Jessie L. Embry as part of the LDS German-Speaking Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western studies at Brigham Young University. Holmstead tells about growing up with parents from Switzerland. She talks about her childhood, speaking German in the home, and the Logan 10th Ward of the Mormon Church where many German-speaking Mormons attended.
