Interview conducted by Janean Goodsell as part of the LDS Asian-American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 13 and 19 April 1991. Viphonsanarath talks about her experiences in Laos and her family fleeing to Thailand. She talks about migrating to the United States and her first impressions of the country. She also tells about her conversion to the Mormon Church and her experiences attending Asian branches in Virginia.
