Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 13 October 1986. Owens talks about growing up in Richmond, Virginia, her marriage to Robert Owens, and their conversion to the Mormon Church. She also talks about her experiences as a Black Mormon.
