They include records pertaining to the development of the Mississippi River Parkway (Great River Road, 1938-1966), the planning of the North Shore Highway (U.S. 61, 1921-1961), and the creation of Conservation Unit No. 1, a Walker, Minn., conservation group (1930s). Correspondents include Daniel DeLury, Victor E. Anderson (U.S. district attorney), J. Lester White, and Conrad Wirth. There are also some letters and programs relating to the Engineers Society of St. Paul (1929-1941).
