The collection consists of carbon copies and photocopies of typewritten manuscripts of Eigner's poetry. Many of these contain Eigner's handwritten annotation. In addition, the collection also includes correspondence of Eigner's from the period January 1954 to June 1978. Here is illustrated Eigner's views of contemporary poetry and poets, as well as his view on his own work.
