Wassermann written on behalf of Alaska Commercial Company, giving reports of company operations re fur trade and market conditions, and activities of its agents; also with these, a newspaper clipping; two letters from Charles E. Hill soliciting assistance in securing the appointment of Judge O.N. Dewey as consul general of Shanghai; one letter from the U.S. Adjutant General's Office to Miller requesting an account of his military service during the Civil War years; two drafts of Miller's account with detailed description of the battle of Stone River and comments on hostilities at Liberty Gap and Nashville.
