Paul B. Janeczko was born on July 27, 1945 in Passaic, NJ. He studied at St. Francis College in Maine and later at John Carroll University. He has worked as a poet, an anthologist, a high school English teacher and as a visiting lecturer. Janeczko is well known for his anthologies, which place the poetry of young upstarts next to internationally known poets.
