Architectural and topographical drawings and sketches, 1800-1868.

About 175 drawings, prints and engravings of houses, churches and views in the English counties of Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. The collection includes over 20 drawings and watercolors of the Middle Hill estate, with drawings of the Broadway Tower and a framed uncut proof sheet of 12 lithographically printed bookplates based on this design. Many of the drawings are unsigned; the artists who signed their work include: W. Batt; H.L. Fenwick; G. Hughes; G. May; G. W. Mote and W. H. Wood The sketchbook by his eldest daughter, Henrietta, records houses and views in Worcestershire as well as a few in other counties . There is also a documment relating to his father's purchase of Middle Hill in 1794 and a letter from A. N. L. Munby to the collector Harrison D. Horblit regarding an unspecified drawing.
