Includes an advertising card for Andrews' Diamond Palace with a miniature photographic portrait of Badger pasted on; a rental agreement for Badger in Petaluma, May 1877; an Oakland hotel receipt, Aug. 1877; a business agreement and receipt from G.M. Brush, City Bill Poster and Advertising Agent, Petaluma, Sept. and Oct. 1879; and a business note to Badger from I.W. Keene. A few clippings also concern J.B. Badger, Mexican War veteran and president of the Grant and Wilson Club, which hosted a political event at which Ella Badger recited. J.B. Badger also appears in at least one of Ella Badger's plays.
