This series contains correspondence and statements of pardons and paroles made by the Governor and sent to various state, local and prison officials as well as attorneys. The correspondence contains references to crimes committed by inmates, justifications of crimes, denials of crimes and other information regarding the Governor's decision. The Governor's statements of pardons and paroles are also included.
