Collection consists of Pope's correspondence and other papers, records of the Institute and scrapbooks of clippings. Scrapbooks contain clippings, 1930-1941, about archaeological, artistic and political matters in or relating to Iran, and activities of the Institute and of Pope and other Iranian scholars. Other clippings of articles concern current events in China, 1945-1947, and other countries in Asia.
