Yancey (1830, 1835, 1833, 1834); bonds for payment on land from Asa W. Graves to Thomas Graves (1808), Lewis T. Cropper to Asa W. Graves (1833), and Adam Snyder to John Keister (1831) assigned to Asa W. Graves (1834), plats and surveys for land belonging to Thomas Graves (1803, resurveyed in 1825 for Asa W. Graves) and Asa W. Graves in Madison County (1819, resurveyed 1840 for his heirs), for Isaac Smith (1749), for land from Isaac Smith to Benjamin Smith (1754), and from Isaac Smith to Adam Banks (1778), all Culpeper County. In addition to land records are bills of sale for slaves to Asa W. Graves, lists of slaves (names, ages, value) belonging to Francis E. Graves and Sarah Graves, and receipts for slaves. There are other receipts for payments on supplies for Francis E. Graves and Strickler and Graves, and for tuition paid to William A. Banks for schooling.
