Account book belonging to John Craig, probably of Philadelphia, Pa., with record of his accounts payable from Jan. 1, 1856 to June 5, 1861. The volume was later used by Sophia L. Coats, 2134 Master St., Philadelphia as a commonplace book and scrapbook for poetry. Many poems were clipped from newspapers, some from Philadelphia papers dated 1877, and were pasted over some of the accounts. Other poems were copied in the volume by Sophia Coats.
