Correspondence (7 items), receipts from St. Paul businesses, and a few other papers of a Norwegian immigrant (1876) who edited several Scandinavian-language periodicals, was inspector general of the Minnesota National Guard (1887-1889), and deputy collector of internal revenue for Minnesota (1890- ). The letters concern the resignation of an agent for the Nordvesten, politics, Brandt's appointment as national guard inspector general, and Joseph Bobleter's 1886 campaign for state treasurer.
