Ledger ["account book 2"], 1807-(1816)1818, and daybook, April 4, 1829-June 2, 1837, of a general store in Whitehouse, Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Included on the preliminary and final leaves of the ledger are several recipes, including one for preserving turnips and several of cures for dysentery, whooping cough, and snake bites.
