This collection is comprised of the papers of William Mairis and his grandson, Henry Edwards Hale Mairis. William Mairis was the son of Robert Mairis and studied at Exeter College, Oxford. He received his BA in 1791, his MA in 1808, and his BD and DD in 1814.
