Bart O. Foss papers, 1915-1922.

Letters to his wife, Mary, from an employee of Raths Mills & Bell Inc., a St. Paul movie-making firm, describing his experiences with a party making promotional films and still pictures for the Northern Pacific Railway Company at Yellowstone National Park, and in the vicinity of Flathead Lake (Montana), in 1922. There are also some news clippings and a small map showing the group's route in the Flathead Lake area. Foss, a cartoonist, joined Raths Mills & Bell around 1920, having previously worked for the St. Paul Daily News and for the Non-Partisan Leader.
