Syllabi, lecture notes, notes on classroom sessions, student papers, examinations, and correspondence, ca. 1920s-1960s, were generated by Raup's courses on educational philosophy and theory taught primarily at Teachers College; correspondence, memoranda, minutes, agendas, reports, and lists of participants, 1942-1944, relate to faculty committees organized to evaluate the philosophical basis of the curriculum at Teachers College, and to recommend future directions; addresses, articles, notes, reports, correspondence, 1931-1972, relate to Raup's involvement with the Philosophy of Education Society; speeches, typescripts and reprints of his articles, clippings of reviews of his books, notes, drafts, and professional correspondence, ca. 1920s-1970 (some material dates from after his retirement), generated by his professional career are included. Also included are papers by Raup and others, ca. 1930s-1970, on educational topics gathered for the YEARBOOK of the National Society of College Teachers of Education.
