Entries indicate the number of the bond, the party to whom it was issued, the amount of the bond, and the date it was redeemed. S155-1 and S155-2 are bound with the STATE TREASURER Bond Record series [MSA S0558]. Included in S155-3 are certificates of indebtedness of the Annapolis and Elkridge Railroad Company (Maryland Laws of 1847, ch. 347).

The Laws of 1834, chapter 279 authorized the governor (with consent of the Council) to appoint the president of a Baltimore bank as Commissioner of Loans.
