The diaries contain an account book of the sales of provisions and general merchandise at Fort Chartres, Illinois from March 18 to April 24, 1767. Also included are descriptions of a journey from Fort Pitt to Fort Chartres in 1766, and a trip from Kaskaskia to New Orleans in 1768.
