The collection consists of letters, documents, and maps related to the business affairs of the Santa Anita Ranch (1901-04) and the Los Angeles Racing Association (1907-22). Of the approximately 600 pieces in this collection, 400 are receipts of the Los Angeles Racing Association. Additional materials relate to the business affairs of Anita M. Baldwin and estate settlements of Elias Jackson Baldwin and his elder daughter Clara Baldwin Stocker for the period 1876-1936, including 2 volumes of city dockets on criminal and civil justice for the city of Arcadia, CA.
