Circuit courts in Alabama exercise jurisdication over criminal and civil cases and have appellate jurisdiction over civil, criminal and juvenile cases arising in district and municipal courts. This series consists of books of certificates of the Supreme Court of Alabama, completed by the court register, showing the registration and the results of appealed cases. Each book lists the following information: term of court, parties, court from which case appealed, the Supreme Court decision, date decision received by lower court, and signature of register.
