A record of wholesale purchases of stamps by the local Postmaster at Coopers Plaine, New York from the United States Post Office Department. Joseph Hammond was postmaster from, 1855-1857, and was succeeded by Francis Cooper. Years later, this volume was converted to a recipe book, that has obscured some of the original information.
