Field Books of a Survey of the Great Lot of the Philipse Manor, 1819 September 15.

Surveys taken by James Dodge under the direction of Henry Livingston of lot number 5 of the land claimed by John Jacob Astor, called the long lot. The field books contain descriptions of the property and of surrounding property listing the names of land owners as well as landmarks.
