The 120 manuscripts in this collection are chiefly governmental and military documents concerning Toussaint Louverture, Henri Christophe, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Charles Leclerc relating to Haiti. Also correspondence with descendants of Toussaint Louverture and Henri Christophe in the Camille Léon file.There are also some documents relating to Guadeloupe and other West Indian islands.
