A letter (August 24, 1862), written by a neighbor, describing the Doyles' involvement in the Dakota Uprising panic at Watertown, Minnesota: a letter (January 1, 1889) to Hannah Doyle (Mrs. Henry) from Jonas H. Howe, Parker's Lake, Hennepin County, Minnesota, concerning Henry Doyle's service in Company F of the 11th Minnesota Infantry, the disability which led to his death, and advice to Hannah on applying for a widow's pension; and her widow's pension certificate (1890).
