Clinton Morrison was born in Minneapolis (March 26, 1915) to Angus W. and Sarah Morrison. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University (1937) and his Master of Business Administration from Harvard University (1939) he went to work for Shell Oil Company (1939-1941).
