Correspondence, memoranda, reports, clippings, photos, and other papers, relating to Ireland's education at Harvard and Harvard Law School, his work as legal counsel for various Cuban sugar companies, particularly Cuban Cane Sugar Corporation, 1925-1928, teaching career at Harvard Law School, 1929-1932, and at Portia Law School, Calvin Coolidge College, and Calvin Coolidge Law School, all in Boston, 1939-1941, the establishment of Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, his work with the Bureau of International Research of Harvard University and Radcliffe College, and publication of his books, Boundaries, Possessions and Conflicts in South America (1938), and Boundaries, Possessions, and Conflicts in Central and North America and the Caribbean (1941).
