Manifest of cargo and abstracts from invoice book of the Ship Empress of China, [ca.1784-ca.1785].

Includes log, diary accounts, and a manifesto at Canton, China for the Empress of China, the first ship to travel from America to China. Contains descriptions of goods that the ship carried, including food, furniture, textiles, wall coverings, costumes, and decorative objects. The manuscript also explains the expenditure of funds and provides comments on particular merchants.
