Arranged numerically by HR bill number, resolution number, or Senate number.Legislative files typically include prints of public laws, committee reports, committee prints, and prints of House documents. The documents may be annotated with changes made by the Members if the document is in draft form. Each bill has a separate file folder which could be combined into one folder for several bills. Each file folder has a clipping from a House publication pasted on the folder which gives the Congress, session, bill number, and a brief summary, thename of the Member and date of introduction. Occasionally there are related publications enclosed in the folder.Frequently thewre are multiple copies of the same bill.
